WhatsApp has just begun to roll out the reactions feature to both iOS and Android users. The feature is also accessible via the Web version. Users can now use an emoji to respond to messages in individual and group chats. Currently, the messaging app does not include all of the emojis found on a standard virtual keyboard.
There are only six basic emojis. The company has not confirmed whether more emojis will be added in the future. Other platforms, such as Telegram, provide a wide range of emojis to respond to messages, giving users more ways to express themselves. Nonetheless, emojis from WhatsApp’s emoji section can be used to express oneself. Gifs and Stickers are also available in the same section. Everything you need to know is right here.
The process is fairly simple, and if you haven’t yet discovered how to send it, please see the step below. If you can’t find the reactions feature on WhatsApp, it means you haven’t received it. The platform has already begun to distribute it, so everyone should have it within a few days.
Step 1: Open WhatsApp on your smartphone and head to any chat.
Step 2: Now, long press on a message, and WhatsApp will display a few basic emojis.
Step 3: You can now simply tap on any of the emojis, after which it will appear at the bottom of the message.
